NeW ExCeRpT!!!

I'm still celebrating Denied Origin's debut! It spent a week on the TWRP bestseller list (http://www.thewildrosepress.com). And...just to let you in on a little secret...there may be even better news concerning the print release. But I'll keep that to myself until it's official :)

*Here's a new nibble for all my blog readers (PG-13):

Valentina heard Mark’s breathing slow, deepen. His eyelashes were long but far from feminine. His mouth was full, sexy. She ran a fingertip over his bottom lip, watched it fall open slightly.

His nose was strong, his skin tan by heritage. She traced them with a fond smile before running a hand through the thick, black mane of his hair.

What was it about him that drew her so strongly?

She remembered the way he’d looked at her in the hotel in Cairo. She’d give anything for him to look at her that way—unguardedly—again.

He cared for her. She drew the knowledge over her like a warm blanket. She followed teasing instinct and brushed her lips over his.

His eyes snapped open. His hand rose between them. His expression was firm.

“Don’t do it.”

“Why not?”

He let out a shaky breath. “There are some lines you can’t turn around and go back to once you’ve crossed them.”

She took the hand that held her back and brought it to her lips. “I don’t want you to stop. I can promise you I won’t want to go back once I’ve crossed the line.”

She leaned toward him again; her lips brushing over his in the lightest of kisses. His eyes narrowed languidly. She savored the tingles spreading through her.

She hummed as they built, deepened.

His eyes were open now and watching. He hadn’t moved. She traced her thumb over his lower lip again and bit her own as it tingled in need. “Kiss me.”

He moved across the space between them and pressed his lips hard over hers.

Hers parted to weld to his. Her breath caught as their breaths mingled. His tongue answered the longing flick of hers. They tangled together, sparking unbelievable bolts of electricity between them.

He rolled over her, trapping her body and mouth underneath his. Sensations welled from deep within her, so deep she could hardly imagine how. Emotions—thick and sweet as honey—excited her beyond pleasure.

He brushed his fingertips over the red lace bodice of her camisole. Under it, her chest rose and fell in quick succession. His hands moved down her sides slowly, igniting need at his touch. She stroked nails over his scalp.

His hum of approval made something boil to the surface of her skin. Her hands trailed over the broad planes of his shoulders, tracing scars over the surface of solid muscles.

She wanted him with an intensity she couldn’t grasp. In total submission, she tipped her head back to invite his lips to the ridge of her jaw and the line of her throat.

He seized the opportunity, nipping the regal ridge with grazing teeth. He pressed his lips to her pulse which was thundering out of control. She could feel his answer, picking up pace until it seemed it could beat no faster or harder.

“Stay with me,” she whispered again, watching his eyes. “Be with me.”

READ THE REVIEWS:
"In Denied Origin, Amber Leigh Williams spins a nice tale of suspense, during which the reader is taken on a journey around the world in several days. This is a fast-paced story that keeps the reader on the edge of the seat and guessing. The action and sexual tension keep the reader wondering, waiting, and wanting more. I can only imagine Amber Williams will get better and better and be well read. Her creativity is obvious with this appropriately-named, highly-charged, danger-filled setting and story. Watch for her future works. She’s an amazing writer. No doubt about it."
