Paranormal Plunge

Looks like yours truly is taking the paranormal plunge. I've been hesitant to do this. I'm so rooted in reality and if I ever go the slightest bit out of bounds, I have to analyze it to the nth degree. Those at Red Rose Publishing have given me the final push.

It's National Wolf Week, owner Wendi Felter informed us. She sent us information about Full Moon Farm, "a sanctuary for wolfdogs and captive-bred wolves." Someone came up with the idea of doing a wolf-shifter anthology and send the proceeds to Full Moon Farm as a donation.

Of course, we all know what a pushover and a dog-lover I am. Though the idea of going paranormal is daunting! I've come up with a general plotline. I just have to figure out how to cram it into the required 5-10K length. It'll be my first short story, too. So wish me luck!!!

Please visit the Full Moon Farm website: www.fullmoonfarm.org and make a donation if you can. If you are unable to do his, look for the Red Rose Publishing wolf-shifter anthology. I'll post the release date when it's available!

Amber, what an exciting new venture! I commend you for being brave enough to tackle a new genre. An offshoot from your norm is a great way to keep the creative juices flowing. I can't wait to read it. And YAY! for helping the doggies! :D

Hi, Amber,

I know what you mean about being grounded in reality -- I'm the same way. I love to write reality, and yet I truly admire those who write paranormal. I've seen some writers create whole, exciting, paranormal worlds in the FIRST chapter! GOOD LUCK to you in your new venture!
