Throwback Thursday & A 4-Star Review from RT BOOK REVIEWS....

I’m celebrating Throwback Thursday over at Roses of Prose today where we’re talking about how opposites attract and hot vs. cold. You’ll find my western romance hero, cowboy Keefe Ridge, waiting for you there. Enjoy!

I wanted to let readers know more about the good news I received from RT Book Reviews! A Place With Briar is featured in the series romance section of RT’s April 2014 issue, which is on magazine shelves now. If you don’t subscribe to RT, Briar and Cole’s story received 4 stars! This is my first RT review and I am beyond thrilled. A huge thank you to RT Book Reviews and reviewer Alexandra Kay! Here’s a little snippet from the review:

Great description and engaging characters make this story an entertaining read. Cole is nicely developed and his despair over losing his son and Briar’s worry over the potential loss of her inn are both well drawn. The secondary characters, such as Briar’s tenants, are also quite fun and nicely crafted.

Remember, Cozies – A Place With Briar might not be on shelves until April 1st, but you can preorder your Kindle copy now at Amazon for just $3.82! Scroll down the page here at The Cozy Page to find exclusive excerpts from the contemporary romance novel….

Oh, and now I think it’s safe to mention that two weeks ago today I signed a two-book contract with Harlequin for two Superromance sequels to A Place With Briar. The first, which I am completing revision work on this week, is Briar’s cousin’s story (Olivia)…and, boy, speaking of opposites attracting.... Crafting Olivia and her hero, Gerald’s, story has been a blast! I adore this hero. (He’s British!) I should have a release date for it soon. I’m hoping it will launch sometime in early winter of this year or the beginning of 2015. Stay tuned…. The third book in the series will be Briar and Olivia’s friend and single mother Adrian’s story. Now that I’m done writing Olivia’s book, I’m anxious to get started on Adrian and her hero’s…who, by the way, happens to be a tattooed bad boy looking for redemption! The best kind :)

More on all this and more to come, I promise. Thanks for stopping by, Cozies! Hoped you enjoyed the news and teasers. And don’t forget to visit Keefe at Roses of Prose today!
